I have been using Essential Oils for over 30 years, but I wasn't introduced to Young Living until a few years ago. I think it took all of five minutes to fall in love with their oils. Everything about this company continues to amaze me.

When I got pregnant with my last child, I went into a green living, toxic free,  organic or bust shift. My previous 5 pregnancies had me knitting hats and sweaters. But not this time. If it wasn't organic, made with five or less identifiable ingredients, it wasn't coming into my home. I made my own laundry and dish soap, deodorant, shampoo and toothpaste. I read every label, article, and scientific study I could get my hands on. And then I began to question my oils...was I buying concentrated pesticides and herbicides? Did I want to be putting that on my skin? That's when I started to buy organic oils. 

When I was introduced to Young Living, I happened to have peppermint and lemon from both companies. The difference in smell alone was unbelievable, but it wasn't until I switched the oils in my DIY projects that the difference hit home. I had been using 20-25 drops of peppermint oil in my toothpaste and 15-20 drops of lavender in my bath salts. It took only one drop of  the Young Living lavender oil in my bath salts and 2-3 drops of peppermint oil in my toothpaste. I was not only getting pure, SAFE oils, backed by their Seed to Seal guarantee, but I was saving money by using quality Young Living oils.

Little did I know at the time that Young Living also had shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, dish soap, laundry soap, supplements, make-up, facial care, baby care products, and so much more.

Oh, and I get points back from buying the products I use...points that I get to  exchange for more products. Now that's awesome!
